Super, Quick and Easy The beauty of these cookie bars is that literally they can be done in less than 30 minutes, start to finish. Yes you read that right…30 minutes and done. Now I am not normally the one who uses a cake mix, but in this recipe it is AMAZING! Extra M&M Fun I am always the first to jump on the seasonal M&M bandwagon each holiday, but…

A new way to stuff a tater…
One of my favorite meals at almost any of our local BBQ joints is a stuffed baked potato. I like to stuff the tater with brisket, or chicken or even sausage, just depending on my mood or the place. This past week My sis-in-love decided to whip up some BBQ Chicken in our new Instant Pots and then I decided to try something super fun. All in one… What I am learning about the Instant Pot is that it really is an all in one magic cooking machine. You really can put everything you want for dinner in it and it all magically cooks to perfection I know it…

It’s time for a FIESTA
I don’t know about y’all but I am ready for a little Fiesta. This Fiesta Chicken is a party in your mouth!! The good news about this meal is it seems quite indulgent but it really is quite healthy….now thats a win! It’s just so pretty I love it when food comes out looking pretty, I really do think it makes it taste better. Have you ever thought about it? If something looks good…it just seems to taste good (unless it has bananas in it). For this dish the pretty not only comes from the salsa on top but also the browned chicken…it really gets some great color on it…

A sweet treat to welcome 2018
New Years Eve is here and 2018 is a mere few hours away…I still can’t believe it. In my family we have a few New Years traditions such as eating black eyed peas and watching the Rose Bowl Parade. One other tradition is something sweet to snack on and these brownies are the perfect sweet treat. All from scratch…& so worth it Don’t get me wrong I love a good boxed brownie mix but when I can I love to make brownies from scratch. Ok, Ok I know you are probably shaking your head and thinking I am crazy, but trust me it is worth it. First everything is…

Your Morning Just Got a Ton Better
So for the last several months I have been thinking about trying to make homemade cinnamon rolls. My brother and sister-in-law have been asking me to make them, but dealing with yeast scared me so I just kept putting it off. That is I put it off until Christmas morning. It is all about patience Homemade cinnamon rolls are 1000% better than the canned version, but beware you have to plan ahead. You need several hours (I started the process the night before) to let the dough proof and get ready to roll up into rolls. SO what is proofing you ask? Proofing is when you let the dough…
