Gluten Free Tres Leche
Tres Leche is a favorite recipe of my brothers… and now I have perfected the recipe to make it Gluten Free so my sis-in-law and myself can enjoy it as well. A fun Birthday treat! We always do a family dinner for birthday’s and I always get to fix a dessert for my brothers birthday. This year he wanted Tres Leche, which I love, so I decided to try a GF version so we could all enjoy it. Now I am not going to lie I was a little nervous. Sometimes gluten free recipes, especially baked goods, can feel gritty and dry, but I was hoping all the milk would…

Easter is just around the corner!! Let’s make blondies!!! Load them up! I am blondie fan… especially loaded ones like these cookies & cream blondies and these pistachio white chocolate blondies. Lucky Charm Cookies are the perfect St Patricks Day treat! They are not only super fun they are SUPER YUMMY!! Are you a Lucky Charm? I was strolling down the cereal aisle the other day, remembering all the kid cereal I ate growing up. Everything from Coco Puffs to Captain Crunch (I liked the one with berries) to Cookie Crunch… and then I saw Lucky Charms. I LOVED the marshmallows in Lucky Charms so much. The unicorn was my favorite one, but I was also a big rainbow fan as well. As I was standing there reminiscing for a second it hit me… let’s put them into a cookie…

Instant Pot Corned Beef & Cabbage
St. Patricks Day is just a round the corner and according to my dad that means it is time for Corned Beef and Cabbage. A few years ago I decided to fix it for him instead of taking him out, and I am so glad I did. It was his last St Patricks Day with us and he loved it as did I. Everything in one pot The beauty of the instant pot is that you literally can cook everything in one pot. That means one pot to clean up when everything is all said and done…I so LOVE that!! OK, well maybe one pot and a cutting board but…

my most favorite sugar cookie
I have been very blessed to have some amazing grandparents. All of them made huge impacts on my life but my MeeMaw was the one who had the biggest impact on my cooking. I make a ton of her recipes but these cookies are my favorite. Worth the wait… The minute we would get to the farm (where she lived) I would go straight to the cookie jar. The cookie jar would sit on a bakers rack at the entrance of the kitchen. It was always loaded with tons of these cookies. It would take us about 12 hours to get there from Texas and every single minute on the way there…

A little bit for Everyone … especially Santa For me a good chocolate chip cookie is a little crispy on the edges, soft in the center and loaded with tons of chocolatey goodness. My families favorite chocolate chip cookies are these, but let me tell you after they have these cookies they might just change their minds. Not only are these cookies crispy and soft but they are also loaded with tons of yummy. First I used semi-sweet chocolate chunks and then I threw in…
