It is Boo Season and this Boo Bark is the perfect Boolicious treat. It is colorful, loaded with yummy and so darn cute (and maybe a little scary too).

BOO BARK FUN!

This bark is loaded with everything yummy. There are Oreo’s, M&M’s, Pretzels, chocolate, sprinkles and more sprinkles. You can also add in some peanut butter cups, caramel candies, butterscotch chips or candy corn.

Really you can add in almost anything you wanted, the possibilities are endless.

EASY PEASY

This bark is so easy, all you need are a few ingredients and about 10 minutes and you are good to go.

First is all about the stars of the show. For this round I used Oreo’s, pretzels and M&M’s. I broke up the Oreo’s and layered them on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Then I threw in some pretzel sticks, that I broke up and the Halloween M&M’s. This is the base of the bark.

Next I melted the white chocolate or almond bark in the microwave. If the chocolate is too thick you can add in a little vegetable oil which helps add some sheen to it as well when it dries and it is tasteless so no one will ever know. Once the chocolate is all melty and yummy I spread it over the base layer. Now don’t worry it gets messy and you will have to toss everything around and then spread it back out… it is all good I promise.

Next I immediately sprinkle on the sprinkles, I used halloween inspired ones including eye balls… the kids love those.

Then I drizzled the colored chocolate, orange and green, with forks to make it all come together. I then sprinkled a few more sprinkles and M&M’s for some extra fun. Let is set and you have BOO Bark.

NOT JUST FOR HALLOWEEN

I made this version for my Halloween Boo Bags, but the beauty is you can make this year round just change up the colors and sprinkles.

For Christmas you could use peppermint. For Thanksgiving you could use the Fall M&M’s with fall leaf sprinkles. For the 4th of July use red, white and blue candy and chocolate. SO MANY OPTIONS!! Have fun with it.

Ingredients

2 LB White Chocolate chips or bar chopped
1 tsp Vegetable Oil
1 LB Orange Melting Wafers
1 LB Purple Melting Wafers
2 Cups M&M's Halloween Colors
2 Cups Oreos, chopped
1 Cup Pretzel Sticks
1 Cup Halloween Sprinkles
1/2 Cup Eyeball Candy

Instructions

Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper, set aside
In a large microwave safe bowl stir together white chocolate and vegetable oil
Heat in microwave for 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth
Spread onto parchment paper in an even layer
Sprinkle M&M's, Oreo's & Pretzels evenly over white chocolate
Melt orange and purple wafers in microwave safe bowls for 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth
Using a fork drizzle each color over the white chocolate
Immediately sprinkle Halloween Sprinkles
Place into freezer for 30 minutes, or in refrigerator for a few hours until set
Break into pieces and serve
