M&M Magic Bars

M&M Magic Bars are truly MAGIC!!  Every bite is perfection.  I love the more traditional layer bars, like these Hello Dollies, but these are my new favorite

Layer it Up!

Just like your more traditional layer bars these M&M Magic Bars are layered with tons of yummy.  First it starts with a graham cracker crust, then comes the sweetened condensed milk, some oats, some chocolate and butterscotch chips, then the M&M’s and of course some sprinkles.  Now I know that sounds like a lot of work… but trust me these are so easy to make.

Let’s Get Started!

The graham cracker crust is a must for me, if you wanted to use Nilla wafers you could, but I am all about the graham crackers personally.  I love how the crust gets that toasty taste when it bakes,  with the bit of crisp… oh now I am craving these.

You also used crushed Oreos or shortbread cookies if you wanted too.

A Fun Addition

In my Hello Dollies I never have added oats to them, I use coconut, but in these I did and they were AMAZING!  I loved the extra bit of texture they gave to the bars.

If you wanted to use coconut (toasted or not) that would also be delicious.

To Finish It Off…

I made these bars for Spring/Easter (I know I ablate posting) so I used the pastel M&M’s and some super cute Easter themed sprinkles.  For the 4th of July I am going to use the red, white and blue M&M’s with some patriotic sprinkles.  Of course for Fall and Christmas there are several options available.  You could also use peanut M&M’s, Caramel M&M’s or the peanut butter ones…so many possibilities!

As for the chips I went with chocolate and butterscotch, but you could all chocolate, some white chocolate, peanut butter chips, caramel chips… whatever you wanted or had on hand.

That is the beauty fo these bars they are so versatile.
