KETO Creamy Garlic Chicken
I am always on the look out for a quick and easy dinner and when I find one as yummy as this I can promise you it will become a regular on my weekly menu. I love this recipe even more because it only uses a few ingredients, most of which you probably have on hand…cannot get much easier than that.
Creamy Goodness
This chicken dish is SOOOO good. The chicken is nice and tender cooked under a delicious layer of a creamy garlic mixture that gives this dish a TON of flavor.
The base of the garlic goodness is cream cheese. I used a whole brick (8 oz) of cream cheese mixed with a little sour cream and minced garlic…lots of garlic. The fresh garlic is what makes this chicken stand out. It truly makes the creamy pillow of cream cheese yumminess something that you cannot get enough of. I have considered making that mixture into a dip… it is THAT good.
Don’t forget the cheese
Not only is there cream cheese there is also shredded cheese to make this dish feel extra decadent and extra pretty. As I am sure you know I am a sucker for a beautiful browned cheese crust on top of an already delicious chicken dish.
I used colby jack cheese and it was amazing, but next time I am going to use monterey jack cheese or maybe even white cheddar cheese. I think the white cheese with the creamy garlic sauce would make for a picture worthy dish for sure.
And it is KETO friendly
As I continue on my KETO journey I love when I find dishes that are super filling, loaded with flavor and low in carbs. I ate a late lunch the day I made this so I only ate 1/2 chicken breast with some of my delicious Cauliflower Risotto and it was the perfect dinner. I paired it all with a quick side salad and it was amazing!
Each serving is only 6 net Carbs (as based on the Carb Manager App) making this a dish that you enjoy and stay within your macros easily!
