• Monster Cookies – The Halloween Version

Monster Cookies are my new favorite Halloween treat.  I mean just how adorable are these little yummies?? SPRINKLES & MORE SPRINKLES I am all about a fun sprinkle for any and all occasion.  I have an entire section in my pantry dedicated to my sprinkle obsession.  My niece and nephew love them as well and want to decorate cookies almost every time they come over just so they can use them. For these cookies I went with a variety.  As seen above a traditional halloween blend of orange, green, black, purple and white and then a pink, green and white version as well for the purple cookies.  I…

  • Monster Brownies – A Boooo-rific Sweet Treat

Halloween is just a round the corner and that means it is time for Monster themed treats… and these Monster Brownies are just what this Halloween needs.  A Monster Brownie with Options The beauty of these brownies are all the options.  First – you can use a box brownie mix if you would like.  If you have a favorite one use it…I would recommend one that bakes up a bit on the darker chocolate side just so the marshmallow web stands out more, but whatever you have on hand will work. Second – you can make this gluten and dairy free.  Just replace the flour and butter with your diet…

  • Spooky Cosmic Brownies

Happy Spooky Season Y’all!!  I am so excited that it is almost Halloween.  As you know I am all about everything Pumpkin, but really I am all about anything Fall and that includes the spooky season.  To amp up our Halloween sweet table this year I decided to bring a classic but make it a little spooky. Classic … Classic … Classic Sometimes it is good to go back to a classic, simple recipe.  I am all for changing up a traditional recipe but there is just something so good about the classics.  These brownies are as classic as they get.  They are rich, fudgy, everything chocolate, topped with icing…

  • Goody Bars (Gluten Free Option)

Memorial Day Weekend is HERE and these Goody Bars would be a perfect sweet treat!! Goody Bar Time! If you know about Goody Bars then you know just how yummy they are.   First can we talk about the oatmeal crust/crumble?  It is buttery, just sweet enough and the perfect envelope to the chocolate center.  I did use Gluten Free Flour and they turned out amazing.  You can use all-purpose if you would like.  Secondly, the chocolate center.  Not only is it chocolate but it is also mixed with sweetened condensed milk (or nectar of the God’s), vanilla, salt and a little more butter.  There can never be too…

  • my most favorite sugar cookie

I have been very blessed to have some amazing grandparents.  All of them made huge impacts on my life but my MeeMaw was the one who had the biggest impact on my cooking.  I make a ton of her recipes but these cookies are my favorite. Worth the wait… The minute we would get to the farm (where she lived) I would go straight to the cookie jar.  The cookie jar would sit on a bakers rack at the entrance of the kitchen.  It was always loaded with tons of these cookies.  It would take us about 12 hours to get there from Texas and every single minute on the way there…

  • The Santa Chocolate Chip Cookie

Cookies are a must make for all the time, but especially during the Holiday Season.  Good thing I know which cookie Santa prefers.   A little bit for Everyone … especially Santa For me a good chocolate chip cookie is a little crispy on the edges, soft in the center and loaded with tons of chocolatey goodness.   My families favorite chocolate chip cookies are these, but let me tell you after they have these cookies they might just change their minds. Not only are these cookies crispy and soft but they are also loaded with tons of yummy.  First I used semi-sweet chocolate chunks and then I threw in…
