• Jump into the Fall Bucket List

I cannot believe we are already half way through October and Fall is in full swing and that means it is time for some Fall Bucket List Fun.  In my part of the world the temperature outside is not reflecting Fall but I know for the rest of the country there are brisk mornings and cool evenings that everyone is enjoying.   We did get to experience that for a few days but the humidity has found its way back to us.   The Bucket List Each Fall I try to get out and so some things that we don’t get to do the rest of the year and this…

  • It is Party Time

I cannot believe it but my nieces 2nd birthday is coming up here in the next month.  It honestly seems like yesterday that the little princess came into the world.  I cannot believe it has been 2 years! I am obsessed She found that crown in my purse, yes I had a crown in my purse.  She pulled it out & immediately put it on and started walking around like a model.  All I could do was laugh… I just don’t know where she comes up with some of the stuff she does. If you were to look at the pics on my phone it is all about her, her…

  • some back to school fun

The first day os school has already come for some, I love all the pics on my social media feeds, but we still have a week.  Either way this fun & quick little questionnaire for the kids is a must do. for any grade I just love the idea of having the kiddos filling one of these out each year, click here to print.  They change so much and being able to see how their likes change through the years would be so fun.  Even better it could also provide some good ammo for graduation parties and wedding rehearsal dinners. Heck you could probably have them fill one out each…

  • Back to School Lunches made Easier

Back to school is here.  I cannot believe how fast this summer has flown by.  I may not have any littles of my own but I have loved hanging out with some special ones this summer and honestly I am a little sad they are going to back so soon. To help out my mommy friends out there I thought I would share my quick reference School Lunch Planner that helps keep the lunches healthy but also fun and delicious. A little something of everything  First you start with a main course.  You can keep this pretty simple but still yummy.  Some ideas I had was as simple as a…

  • Time to get a grip on cleaning up

This post is 100% for me.  I am the worlds worst at cleaning the house.  It is something I have never been good at…EVER!    I would much rather run errands, go to the grocery store, cook a 7 course meal or do laundry than clean the house.   Unfortunately though, that is not how the real world runs, so I have FINALLY found a schedule I can handle. You can do this Ok, at first glance I know this can kinda seem a little too time consuming, which is something I know you do not have a ton of.  I thought the same thing as I started on this…

  • A good morning makes a GREAT day

A good morning, in my opinion, really can make a BIG difference in how your day turns out.  For me I like to have a routine to help ensure a good day…and this is it. I am not perfect Don’t get me wrong I don’t follow this step by step EVERYDAY but I try to as much as I can.   The hardest one for me is to not reach for my phone.  I instinctively wake up and want to see what notifications I have, or what emails have come through, but when I don’t and take a few minutes for me it makes such a difference. I find that…

  • A-Z … what inspires you and those around you?

  • All about YOU (at least for 30 days)

OK, I know it is hard to sometimes make time for you.  Your busy with work, family, friends, housework, kids, church…the list goes on and on.  I understand I have been there, but I have learned just recently how important it is to take some time for yourself.  Trust me and in 30 days you will see what I am talking about. Don’t worry I am not talking about a ton of time, I am talking about 10-15 minutes a day…that’s all. Step 1….Grab a Journal Confession time…I am I am journal junkie.  I use them for work, personal, in my car…and the more I have the happier I am.…
