Salted Caramel Makes Everything YUMMY

In my opinion Salted Caramel can anything and everything yummy…especially brownies.  Yes…Salted Caramel Brownies, I mean how good does that sound?  To me it sounds AMAZING!

Hello Goodness…

I have always been a big, big fan of caramel but salted caramel, well that is taking my like to love.  The balance of sweet and salty makes it a perfect bite and when you add it with chocolate…it doesn’t get any better.

I usually make my own salted caramel sauce but for these brownies I used this Salted Caramel Sauce.  I love it because it is thick and super creamy, and holds up well as it is baked.  You can use whatever sauce you prefer, but this one is a good one.

A little surprise

For a little extra something special there is a bit of espresso powder in the brownies.  Why, you ask?

Well, it tastes good, but it also intensifies the chocolatey goodness of the brownies.  There is just something about the espresso powder that makes the brownie even more chocolate love.

Now if you don’t have any, or don’t want to use it, no worries.  The brownies will still be AMAZING they will just be even more AMAZING with it.

It is time for brownies!

Notes

For a stronger espresso flavor use 3 teaspoons espresso powder. I love a hint of it in each bite, but don't worry it is not too much...my niece and nephew love these brownies.

Just a little sprinkle…

Just a little sprinkle of sea salt at the end goes a long way.  It adds just that bit of extra something that takes these brownies to the next level.

Oh yeah, it also is pretty…and that is always a good thing.
