grilling fun all summer long

One of my favorite things about summer is grilling.  I will grill pretty much anything in the summer…I mean it.  This summer we have already grilled burger, steaks, veggies, peaches and even bread…yes I said bread.    Trust me grilled bread is AMAZING!!  Even better than grilled bread is this Grilled Pork.

Quick & Easy

Not only is this pork delicious but it is also CRAZY easy.  So easy it is only 3 ingredients.  Yes only 3 ingredients.  All you need is the pork tenderloins, olive oil and course seasoning salt.  Thats it and then onto the grill it goes.

Before you know it you have dinner done.

It is all about the sear

To make this grilled tenderloin super moist and tender it all starts with searing it on high heat on the grill.  You quick sear it on all sides and then let it finish cooking on the cooler side.  This makes for a super juicy tenderloin that is perfectly seasoned and perfect for a quick summer dinner.

Heat up the grill

Ingredients

3-4 lb package pork tenderloins, about 1 1/2 lbs each (they usually come in a pack of 2)
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2-3 tablespoons favorite seasoning blend (I use this course ground Steak Seasoning )

Directions

Preheat all burners of grill to high heat
Once temperature reaches about 500 degrees place tenderloins onto one 1/2 of the grill
Turn the other 1/2 of the grill down to medium heat
Sear each side of the tenderloin for about 1 1/2-2 minutes before turning
Once all sides are seared move tenderloins to the other half of the grill and continue to cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until internal temperature reaches 140 degrees
Remove and let tenderloin rest for 5 minutes before serving
Serve with your favorite BBQ sauce or my favorite Chimichurri Sauce
ENJOY!!

Notes

Use any seasoning blend you prefer just try and stay away from anything too sugary as it will burn on the grill

Top it off

To finish this pork off I topped it with my Homemade Chimichurri Sauce.  It is light and full of flavor making it the perfect addition to this already delicious pork.

If you don’t want to make it from scratch you can buy it at the store or use pesto, BBQ sauce or nothing at all.

It is a must make however you decide to serve it.
