one bowl brownies…make these now!

BROWNIES!

Don’t you just love the sound of the word?  When you hear the word brownie what comes to your mind first?  Is is chocolate? Dessert? Fudgy? Goodness? Amazing? MUST HAVE (yes I know that is two words)? What about one bowl brownies?

The Hubby’s favorite

When I hear the word brownie I think of The Hubby.  I think he would eat brownies everyday, all day if he could so I am always on the look out for a great new brownie recipe and the easier the better.

Not only are these brownies amazing but they are so good…and only take one bowl to whip up!

One bowl and done

The Hubby is all about fudgy brownies.  He loves them when they almost seem they are not cooked all the way giving them that texture almost like fudge.  Now, these one bowl brownies are super fudgy.  There is only 1/2 cup flour.  Yes you read that right, only 1/2 cup of flour.  The result is super fudgy and dense brownies that The Hubby loves and I am sure you will too.

A little surprise

ESPRESSO POWDER…ok now I know this may scare some people away but hold on just one second.  First you won’t taste it, I promise.  Secondly it really helps to intensify the chocolatey goodness of the cocoa powder and thirdly well I just love adding it to almost every chocolate dessert.  If you don’t have any on hand, you can get it here and it will come straight to your door in no time.

Let’s talk chips and beyond

I used peanut butter chips because they are The Hubby’s favorite.  If I was making them for me I would use a combo os dark chocolate and white chocolate chips.  Butterscotch chips would be so yummy too.

FYI…I made these in a 9×9 pan but if you need a larger pan of delicious brownies you can double the recipe…they will be so, so good and everyone will be so glad you did.

One bowl has never brought such goodness…UNTIL NOW!
