a S’more isn’t just for camping…

smore cookie wide S’mores are a favorite of mine.  I love the combo of graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows…it is summer in a  bite.

NO campfire needed…

One of the hardest parts of having s’more is they are traditionally cooked over a campfire, or at least a flame of some sort, but the beauty of these s’mores is that you don’t need a fire of any kind. It is COOKIE time!

smore doughGetting the fun started…

Every good s’more is loaded with graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows and now they are mixed into a cookie.  This chocolate chip cookie recipe is balanced perfectly with white sugar and brown sugar.  There is also the perfect amount of butter and salt making this a delicious cookie on its own.

Oh but wait…it gets so much better! There are graham cracker crumbs in the cookie base.  Yes you are reading that right, there are GRAHAM CRACKER CRUMBS in the cookie batter!  Can it get any better?

Yes, it can get better…

The cookies are already delicious on their own but when they are just about done you pop on some marshmallows and chocolate bars to make them AMAZING!  Yep, there are marshmallows & chocolate bars right on top of the cookies.  Right after you add the yumminess you pop them back in the oven to let everything get golden brown & even more perfect.

You need to make these NOW…

Cookies to remember…

As I said before S’mores are summer to me and these cookies take everything I love about summer and make it even better.  Not only will the kids love these cookies but the adults will too.

S’more cookies will take you back to the good ‘ole days when summer was a 3 month vacation and wasn’t full of responsibility…you know when you were a kid.  So even if for just a bite or two you can be a kid again.  I won’t tell anyone.
